Responsibilities Engage with customers in retail and inside sales environments, offering tailored product demonstrations and detailed layout design consultations. Develop strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding their renovation or remodeling needs, and providing expert advice on plumbing fixtures, lighting design, and construction materials. Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and upsell complementary products such as fixtures, lighting, and remodeling supplies. Conduct product demos and educate clients on features, benefits, and installation processes of plumbing systems, fixtures, and lighting solutions. Collaborate with clients during remodeling projects by providing technical support in layout design using CAD or SketchUp software. Negotiate deals confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction and closing sales efficiently. Maintain organized stock levels, merchandising displays effectively, and ensure the store environment is inviting for high-end clientele. Skills Proven experience in outside sales with a focus on construction or remodeling products; inside sales experience is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing deals in high-end sales environments. Technical proficiency in CAD software, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, CRM tools, and basic math for accurate quoting and calculations. Knowledge of plumbing fixtures, lighting design principles, interior design concepts, and renovation processes. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases. Ability to build rapport quickly with clients through exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in layout design and merchandising. Experience in retail math for pricing strategies and upselling techniques; familiarity with maintenance or fixture sales is advantageous.
