  • Full-time Position Overview Delmarva Power Sports is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team.
This role is responsible for guiding customers through the purchase of motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and related products while delivering an exceptional buying experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about powersports, skilled in relationship-building, and driven to achieve sales goals. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience Greet and engage customers in a professional, friendly manner Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate units and accessories Deliver a consultative sales experience , not high-pressure selling Conduct product walkarounds and explain features, benefits, and safety Sales Process Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to delivery Follow dealership sales processes (lead tracking, CRM usage, follow-up) Present pricing, financing options, and protection products Assist customers with trade-ins and unit comparisons Lead Management Respond promptly to internet, phone, and walk-in leads Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects Build and maintain a personal customer pipeline Product Knowledge Stay current on all brands: Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, CFMOTO, Kayo Understand differences between models and competitor products Educate customers on usage, maintenance, and ownership Dealership Support Assist in merchandising showroom and lot presentation Participate in sales events, promotions, and community outreach Maintain accurate paperwork and compliance with dealership policies Performance Expectations Meet or exceed monthly unit sales goals Maintain strong closing ratios and customer satisfaction scores Achieve accessory and F&I product penetration targets Consistent follow-up and CRM activity Qualifications Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work weekends and peak seasonal hours Basic computer skills (CRM, email, texting platforms) Valid driver's license Preferred Previous sales experience (powersports, automotive, or retail) Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, or outdoor recreation Experience with financing and trade-in evaluation Compensation & Benefits Competitive base + commission structure Performance bonuses and incentives Employee discounts on units, parts, and accessories Opportunities for growth within the dealership Health Insurance 401K Paid time off
