Merchant Focus is hiring an entry-level Business Development Representative to sell payment processing to referral partners and direct merchants. No payments or fintech background required — we'll train you on the industry. This role also includes a structured path into embedded payments partnership work as you gain experience. What you'll do: Prospect, qualify, and close referral partnerships and direct merchant accounts Build and manage your own pipeline Progress into ISV partnership work over your first year — starting with lead-gen and qualification, growing toward independent deal ownership. What we're looking for: No prior payments experience needed Comfortable with a bonus- and commission-heavy pay structure Resilient, organized, self-directed in outbound sales Coachable — this role has a defined ramp and regular check-ins

Compensation:

$45,000 base salary, plus uncapped commision.
