Job Description
About Mangrove Mangrove designs and manufactures premium outdoor products—benches, planters, and custom site elements—using advanced 3D-printed concrete. We partner with landscape architects, designers, and installers to bring distinctive, durable solutions to life with speed and minimal waste. The Role Mangrove is hiring a Dealer Sales Representative to grow our dealer network across the Midwest. This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role focused on establishing Mangrove with dealers who sell fire pits, hardscape products, and landscape materials. The right person will spend most of their time on the road, meeting dealers in person and turning those meetings into long-term accounts. What You'll Do Identify and prospect dealers, landscape yards, and hardscape retailers across an assigned Midwest territory Build and maintain in-person relationships with dealer accounts Present Mangrove's catalog and onboard new dealers Manage the order process for your accounts from quote through delivery Maintain accurate, up to date records in the company CRM Travel regularly within your territory to support and grow accounts Coordinate with internal teams on production timing and order logistics Report on pipeline activity and account status Qualifications (Must-Haves) 2-5 years of outside sales experience, ideally in hardscape, landscape, outdoor living, or a related building products category Strong in-person relationship and communication skills Experience using a CRM to track accounts and pipeline Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field Valid driver's license and clean driving record Field-first mindset: regular firm visits, jobsite walk-throughs, and relationship selling Travel regionally (day trips + occasional overnights) and ability to lift 30-40 lbs sample kits Able to work on-site in Caledonia, MI regularly; valid driver's license Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Experience in landscape/site furniture, hardscape systems, architectural concrete/precast, or building products Track record of 3-4× pipeline coverage and reliable forecasting (≥85% accuracy) Experience running CEU/lunch-and-learn programs and trade shows (ASLA or similar) Territory management in Michigan and the Great Lakes region; existing A&D network is a plus Comfort reviewing CAD/visualization for communication (SketchUp, Rhino, Fusion—no production modeling required) Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Architecture/Landscape Architecture, Engineering) or equivalent experience You'll Thrive Here If You… Love building your own book of business and owning your number Keep a crisp pipeline and communicate clearly—internally and with clients Enjoy design-forward products and collaborating with creative, hands-on teams Location & Travel Primary territory: West Michigan → Great Lakes , with occasional national travel for key opportunities and shows On-site collaboration at our Caledonia, MI facility is part of the role Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission Health insurance, paid time off, mileage/travel reimbursement Growth opportunity in a high-visibility role at a fast-moving, design-driven manufacturer
