Position Summary Moran Blue Water CDJR is seeking an energetic, customer-focused New & Used Automotive Sales Consultant to join its growing dealership team. The ideal candidate is motivated, professional, and passionate about helping customers find the right vehicle to fit their needs, lifestyle, and budget. This role will support both new and pre-owned vehicle sales while delivering a positive, informative, and low-pressure buying experience. The Sales Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process, from initial greeting and product presentation to follow-up, closing, and long-term relationship building. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist showroom visitors, phone leads, and internet inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Conduct needs assessments to match customers with appropriate new or pre-owned vehicle options. Present and demonstrate vehicle features, technology, safety options, pricing, warranties, and available protection products. Explain financing and trade-in processes in collaboration with dealership management and finance teams. Follow up with prospective customers through phone, email, text, and CRM activity. Maintain current knowledge of inventory, manufacturer incentives, dealership promotions, and market trends. Build long-term relationships that support repeat business, referrals, and a strong customer experience. Negotiate and close vehicle sales while maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals, activity targets, and dealership performance expectations. Participate in sales meetings, product training, and dealership events as needed. Qualifications Previous sales experience preferred; automotive sales experience is a plus. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment. Ability to use computers, CRM systems, and digital communication tools. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
