About Launch Lansing Launch Family Entertainment in Okemos is more than a trampoline park — it's a high-energy experience destination where kids and families come to play, celebrate, and make memories. We're growing and looking for a motivated, guest-focused Group Sales & Events Coordinator to help fill our calendar with birthday parties, field trips, and group events, and to make sure every one of those groups has an awesome experience from first phone call to final high-five. What You'll Do As our Group Sales & Events Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind our birthday party and group business — and the friendly face guests see when they walk through the door for their event. You'll split your time between selling (calling on schools, day cares, youth organizations, and community groups, and closing bookings that come to us) and coordinating (making sure every party and group visit runs smoothly on-site).
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Prospecting and booking birthday parties, field trips, day care/day camp groups, and other group events Quoting prices, preparing contracts, and collecting deposits Attending community and Chamber of Commerce events to build new business Keeping booking records, schedules, and marketing materials accurate and up to date Serving as the on-site point of contact for group bookings and parties — coordinating with Operations, Food Service, and Game Room staff Hosting or overseeing events depending on size, and executing pre-event phone calls to confirm details What We're Looking For You're a natural at building relationships and closing a sale, but you're just as comfortable making sure the details of an event come together on-site. You bring energy and warmth to every guest interaction, stay organized under pressure, and take ownership when something needs fixing.Requirements:
18 years or older with reliable transportation and a good driving record Minimum 1-2 years of sales and/or customer service experience High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Comfortable with outbound prospecting (calls, in-person visits, community events) as well as in-person guest interaction Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Lansing, MI area before starting Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay plus commission/bonus on group and party bookings Paid time off Employee discount Flexible scheduling This Role Is For You If… You love the chase of a new sale as much as you love seeing a group of excited kids walk through the door.
