BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE PROPERTY RESTORATION SERVICES

About Ivory Property Restoration Ivory Property Restoration is a growing, multi-branch restoration company serving Michigan and Texas. We provide responsive, high-quality water, fire, mold, and storm-damage restoration for residential and commercial clients. Our team is built around urgency, clear communication, dependable service, and a strong customer experience from first call through project completion. The Opportunity We are seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Representative to expand Ivory's presence across the Michigan market. This role owns territory development, creates new referral and commercial account opportunities, strengthens existing partnerships, and helps position Ivory as the first call for property-damage emergencies. The ideal candidate is proactive, credible, and comfortable engaging insurance professionals, property and facility leaders, trade partners, and community decision-makers. You know how to build a healthy pipeline, stay visible with referral partners, uncover client needs, and turn trust into sustainable revenue growth. What You'll Do Develop and execute a territory growth plan focused on high-value referral sources, commercial accounts, and strategic partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with insurance agents and adjusters, property managers, facility managers, multifamily operators, plumbers, HVAC professionals, contractors, and other centers of influence. Prospect for new business through field outreach, networking, cold calling, industry associations, community events, and targeted account development. Conduct account visits, presentations, lunch-and-learns, and relationship-building activities that keep Ivory top of mind before a loss occurs. Promote emergency response and preferred-vendor relationships with commercial, multifamily, and property-management clients. Qualify opportunities, coordinate site visits, and ensure a smooth handoff to operations and project management for estimating and follow-up. Maintain accurate CRM records, including contacts, activities, opportunities, next steps, and pipeline forecasts. Track territory KPIs, referral activity, conversion trends, and revenue performance; consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual goals. Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to deliver a responsive, professional client experience and strengthen account retention. Represent Ivory professionally in the market and remain available to support relationship needs surrounding time-sensitive property losses. What You'll Bring Business development, outside sales, account management, or relationship-based selling experience; restoration, construction, HVAC, insurance, property management, or a related trade is strongly preferred. A proven ability to open doors, develop referral partnerships, manage a sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into revenue. Strong communication, presentation, follow-up, and consultative selling skills. Self-motivation, accountability, and the ability to manage a territory with consistent field activity. Comfort using a CRM and performance data to prioritize opportunities and report results. A customer-first mindset, sound judgment, and the professionalism to represent Ivory during urgent and sensitive situations. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned Michigan territory.
