Job Description

About Northface Construction Northface Construction is a Minnesota exterior remodeling contractor serving homeowners with roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, roof rejuvenation, solar shingles, and repairs. Founded in 2010 by Josh Swisher, the company has grown from its first hire in 2017 into one of the Twin Cities' go-to residential contractors, with offices in Elk River and Minneapolis. We're not chasing one-off jobs. We build long-term relationships, do quality work, and give homeowners straightforward recommendations they can trust. Our goal with every customer is simple: earn the right to be their Contractor for Life. Why Northface for your next Career Move This is a seat for a Sales Closer who's tired of splitting their week between prospecting and selling. We hand you the appointments. You bring the close. Uncapped earnings. Your paycheck reflects your production, there is no ceiling in this job. Warm, company-provided leads. Homeowners request us. You spend your time in front of buyers, not dialing for them. Autonomy over your day. Run your appointments your way. We measure results, not activity or hours on the phone. Coaching and Training. Ongoing training, role-play, and performance coaching are here when you want to sharpen your tools. A product you can stand behind. A clean handoff to a production team that actually delivers, so your referrals and repeat business compound. If you're competitive without being cutthroat, coachable without needing to be managed, and confident enough to ask for the business every time — you'll thrive here. Day in the Life Run company-provided, pre-set in home sales appointments from start to finish. Conduct professional consultations and property assessments; diagnose the homeowner's real problem before quoting a price. Ask concise questions, uncover needs and buying motivations, and recommend the right solution for the home, goals, and budget. Build value first, then present proposals and financing options clearly and confidently. Ask for the sale and work to earn a decision during the initial appointment whenever the project allows. Overcome objections professionally, we don't believe in any high-pressure or manipulative tactics. Document measurements, product selections, colors, and expectations accurately for a clean production handoff. Keep your CRM and pipeline current, and follow up on unsold opportunities instead of waiting for the phone to ring. Represent Northface professionally in customers' homes and in the community. Qualifications At least 8 years of experience in retail or in-home exterior experience with a track record of closing consumer deals. Command of a structured sales process: uncovering needs, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing. Confidence discussing price and asking for the sale. Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable being held accountable to measurable results. Organized enough to juggle multiple appointments and consistent follow-up. Comfortable with CRM and sales technology. Physical ability to perform the job responsibilities. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Able to pass applicable pre-employment requirements. Strongly preferred qualifications In-home sales closing experience. High-ticket consumer sales background (home improvement, roofing, windows, siding, HVAC, bath, flooring, solar, etc.). Experience offering consumer financing. A history of consistently hitting or beating sales goals. Construction knowledge helps but isn't required, we'll train products, manufacturers, pricing, and systems. We need you to already know how to sell. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, in office team and company meetings, appointment hours vary depending on homeowners' schedules. Expect afternoon and evening appointments including a minimum of two Saturdays per month. Compensation & Benefits Pay structure: W-2 employee, high commission, and bonus opportunities
