What You'll Do The Sales Desk Manager is responsible for driving dealership sales performance by supporting and leading the daily sales process, structuring vehicle deals, coaching sales associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role serves as a key resource for the sales team by assisting with negotiations, desking deals, inventory management, customer engagement, and sales process compliance while helping the dealership achieve profitability and volume objectives. Structure and desk vehicle deals to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Support Sales Consultants throughout the sales process to improve closing performance. Review pricing, trade valuations, lender programs, and payment options. Assist customers with vehicle selection, negotiations, and purchase decisions. Drive achievement of sales, gross profit, volume, and CSI objectives. Monitor sales activity, lead conversion, and showroom performance. Coach and develop Sales Consultants on sales process, product knowledge, and customer engagement. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, OEM standards, and sales procedures. Partner with F&I to facilitate efficient deal flow and vehicle deliveries, serving as back up if our Finance team member is scheduled to be off. Manage inventory pricing, merchandising, and aging inventory strategy. Conduct daily sales meetings and reinforce accountability to performance goals. Help recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent. Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly. Other duties as assigned by leadership. What You'll Bring 3+ years of automotive sales leadership experience in an OEM dealership. Proven success desking deals and driving sales profitability. Strong understanding of finance, lender programs, and trade appraisals. Experience coaching and developing automotive retail sales teams. Proficiency with CRM, DMS, and automotive desking tools. Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Total Rewards $120,000.00 - $150,000.00/ per year This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes a base/hourly/draw offset and the ability to collect commission and bonus based on performance. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
