Our automotive dealership is a clean and modern facility that encompasses Sales, Service, Parts, Body Shop, Accounting and Vehicle Reconditioning. We are family-owned and operated for over 50 years. John Wiese Ford provides a supportive work environment that promotes professional development and a healthy work-life balance. Job Description An Automotive Sales Consultant serves as a guide to facilitate the customer buying experience. The Sales Consultant matches customer needs with model and equipment and works with management to present the customer with available options for financing, trade-in evaluation, accessories, and related products and services. The Sales Consultant coordinates with other departments to ensure that customer requests are met and follows up with customers to ensure overall satisfaction with their dealership experience. We are looking for a "people person" with a good attitude and a willingness to work hard to learn the business for a long-term career opportunity in the professional field of sales and marketing. Responsibilities Provide a high quality, professional experience to every customer, following the dealership's sales and delivery process Maintain high ethical standards Establish a knowledge base regarding all products and services offered by the dealership Maintain a working knowledge of Ford, finance, lease and insurance programs Actively listen to customers and follow up to ensure that their needs have been met Coordinate with other departments within the dealership to serve customers Abide by company policy and legal requirements to safeguard customer information Participate in sales meetings and maintain a courteous and professional relationship with coworkers Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Associate or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related field, preferred 2 years sales experience or equivalent customer service experience Valid Driver's License Basic computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work Mon-Fri, 8am-5:30pm and rotating Saturdays until noon Benefits Paid Time Off Health Insurance with HSA Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401K Retirement Plan Employee vehicle discounts Parts and Service pricing discounts Compensation Excellent base-pay guarantee, with commissions and incentives.
