Position Overview Big Time Advertising is seeking a friendly, confident, and highly organized BDC Representative to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri. This is a people-focused position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to speak comfortably with prospective customers, current customers, dealership personnel, and internal team members. The BDC Representative will respond to new leads, follow up with customers, assist current customers with questions and requests, schedule appointments, and manage customer and sales activity in HubSpot. This person will help ensure every inquiry is handled promptly, documented accurately, and directed to the appropriate person. The ideal candidate can start and maintain conversations naturally, listen carefully, explain information clearly, and confidently guide customers toward the appropriate next step without sounding pushy or scripted. Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to new leads and customer inquiries Communicate with prospective and current customers by phone, text, and email Assist current customers with questions, requests, and general support needs Make outbound calls to follow up with leads and customers Ask qualifying questions to understand each customer's needs Schedule and confirm appointments with dealership sales and service teams Maintain consistent follow-up with customers who are not ready to schedule immediately Help reduce missed appointments through timely reminders and confirmations Direct or escalate customer requests to the appropriate dealership contact or Big Time Advertising team member Create and update contacts, companies, deals, tasks, and notes in HubSpot Manage deals through the appropriate HubSpot pipeline stages Keep deal statuses, values, next steps, and expected close dates accurate and current Monitor assigned tasks and ensure follow-up activities are completed on time Maintain detailed records of customer conversations, requests, and outcomes Communicate appointment details, customer requests, and lead updates to dealership personnel Work with internal team members to ensure customer and client requests are handled properly Follow approved scripts and processes while keeping conversations natural and personalized Meet individual and team goals for calls, contacts, appointments, response times, follow-up activity, and show rates Represent Big Time Advertising and its dealership clients professionally Participate in occasional company or client-related travel, generally once or twice per year Follow all company policies and applicable communication and privacy regulations Required Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be comfortable talking with people by phone, text, email, and in person Able to communicate naturally with different personalities and customer types Friendly, confident, and professional phone presence Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs Able to explain information clearly and professionally Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of calls Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities Able to handle objections, difficult conversations, and rejection professionally Organized and capable of managing multiple customers, deals, tasks, and requests Comfortable using computers, email, text-messaging platforms, and business software Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Must be able to work in person at our Chesterfield, Missouri office Willing and able to travel occasionally Preferred Qualifications Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform Previous experience in a BDC, call center, customer service, sales, account support, or automotive position Familiarity with dealership sales, service, inventory, or financing processes Previous automotive experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
