Performance bonus may be available based on individual and company performance About Us Deko International Co., Ltd. is an established importer and distributor of food ingredients serving food manufacturers, distributors, and other business customers throughout the United States. We are looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Representative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in developing a career in B2B sales and learning the food ingredient industry. Entry-level candidates and candidates with 0-2 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Develop new customers and identify new business opportunities Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers Contact prospective customers through phone calls, emails, meetings, and in-person visits Follow up on sales leads, quotations, samples, and customer inquiries Visit customers and attend business meetings as needed Travel within California and occasionally to other states for customer visits, trade shows, or business meetings Learn the company's products, applications, pricing, and market conditions Work closely with purchasing, logistics, customer service, and management to support customer needs Maintain organized records of customer contacts, quotations, follow-ups, and sales activities Assist with market research and identifying potential customers and new business opportunities Meet established sales and business development goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 0-2 years of professional experience; B2B sales experience is a plus but not required Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person Self-motivated, organized, and willing to learn Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalism, and can be trusted to handle customer and company information responsibly Dependable and able to follow through on commitments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willing and able to travel for business as needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications Experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing, importing, distribution, or related industries is a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $60,000-$66,000 per year , depending on qualifications and experience Performance bonus opportunities Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel Company-paid approved business travel expenses Paid time off and company holidays Health and other benefits in accordance with company policy Work Authorization Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
