Job Description

Summary This role supports the Divisional AIM (Advertising and Innovative Marketing) Specialist. This role assists in formatting, assembly, proofing, billing and execution of department ad programs.
Description of Work Essential Functions:
Bills vendors and crediting retailers for billbacks and scans. Plans, creates and finalizes weekly ad planner information (using iPro ad planning software) to help retailers plan their weekly ad with low cost items to increase sales. Provides ad group members with information in a timely manner Prepares and provides event deal information. Maintains retailer ad group file; sends out pertinent information to retailers between planners. Assists with proof ad PDF files, maintains ad fund , and conducts vendor research. Charges customer ad fees for print, distribution, etc. Bills vendor ad fees for ad items. Coordinates new item launch process. Conducts validation reporting. Provides ad group members with information in a timely manner Responds to ad hoc requests as needed Qualifications Any combination of education, training and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of grocery newspaper advertisement process. Knowledge of iPro ad planning tool preferred.
Abilities:
Extremely strong attention to detail and follow up skills. Exceptional communication skills, including proactive listening skills. Strong customer service skills.
Experience, Education and Training:
Minimum of high school diploma. Associate degree or higher preferred. Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. Strong computer literacy.
Physical Requirements:
Perform bending, squatting, sitting, and reaching from floor level to six feet in height. Must be able to lift or move 25 pounds, as needed for copier paper boxes or supplies. Long periods of sitting at a desk, entering information into a computer.

Standard office/store environment.
