Front Counter Fencing Sales Montana Fence Great Falls, Montana Montana Fence is looking for a Front Counter Fencing Salesperson to join our team in Great Falls. If you're the kind of person who enjoys talking to people, figuring out what they need, and helping them get the right product for the job, you might fit right in here. Our front counter is where customers come in with questions, ideas, measurements, and sometimes nothing more than, "I need a fence." We need someone who can take it from there. You'll learn our products, understand what goes into a good fence project, put together quotes, and help customers make decisions. What You'll Be Doing Welcome customers in and provide great, down-to-earth customer service Answer phones, emails, and customer questions Talk with customers about their fencing, gate, and access-control needs Help customers choose the right materials and products for their project Prepare accurate quotes and estimates Read and work with measurements, dimensions, and material quantities Enter orders and make sure the details are correct Follow up on estimates and turn opportunities into sales Take payments and handle other front-counter responsibilities Coordinate with other staff to make sure customers get what they ordered Learn Montana Fence's products, pricing, installation methods, and processes Keep the showroom and front counter organized and looking professional Jump in and help wherever you're needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is personable, confident, dependable, and willing to learn. You don't have to know everything about fencing when you walk through the door. We can teach you fencing.

The right person will:

Enjoy talking to customers and building relationships Listen to what a customer actually needs instead of just selling them something Pay attention to the details — because a wrong measurement or material can cause a BIG headache Be organized and able to keep multiple projects moving at once Be comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and pricing Be able to learn new products and computer systems Take responsibility for their work and follow things through Show up, work hard, and be someone the rest of the team can count on Experience Fencing, construction, building materials, agriculture, or sales experience is a plus — but it's not required. We're willing to train the right person. If you've got sales experience and a great personality, we'll teach you fencing. If you've got fencing or construction experience but haven't done much sales, we'll teach you the sales side. If you've got a strong work ethic, common sense, and genuinely enjoy helping people, we'd like to meet you. The Montana Fence Team We're a local fencing company serving Montana, and we take a lot of pride in the work we do.
