Job Description

We are seeking a professional, confident, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our trailer manufacturing team. This position will work directly with customers and dealers to understand their needs, recommend the right trailer and options, prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality, professional presence, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships. . The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and communicating with both customers and internal manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and dealer accounts. Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate trailer, configuration, and options. Prepare accurate quotes based on trailer specifications, options, accessories, and pricing. Follow up consistently with dealers and outside sales reps. Process customer orders accurately and ensure all specifications are clearly documented. Communicate customer requirements and order details with production, engineering, purchasing, and shipping departments. Keep customers informed regarding order status, production schedules, changes, and delivery expectations. Provide knowledgeable and professional assistance regarding trailer models, specifications, features, and options. Identify opportunities to sell additional options, accessories, and upgrades. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, quotes, and orders. Use Excel, QuickBooks, CRM, and other company systems to support sales and customer service activities. Address customer questions and concerns professionally and work with internal departments to resolve issues. Meet or exceed established performance expectations. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of sales experience. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Professional appearance, communication, and demeanor. Strong personality with confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers. Proven ability to follow up and build relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems. Experience with Microsoft Excel. Experience with QuickBooks. Ability to understand and communicate product specifications, measurements, options, and pricing. Preferred Background Experience in one or more of the following industries is strongly preferred : Automotive RV Trailer sales or manufacturing Agricultural equipment Heavy equipment Experience working with dealers, contractors, farmers, commercial customers, or equipment owners is also a plus.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
