Overview Shirley Exterior Cleaning is looking for a reliable, outgoing person to help generate new local customers through neighborhood canvassing and face-to-face outreach. This is a flexible, part-time sales position focused on speaking with homeowners, introducing our exterior cleaning services, distributing flyers, and helping interested customers request a quote or schedule service. The role is ideal for someone who is comfortable talking with people, wants flexible hours, and likes the opportunity to earn more based on performance. No pressure-washing experience is required. Training on our services, pricing, and customer approach will be provided. Responsibilities Walk assigned residential neighborhoods in Morehead City and surrounding Carteret County areas. Speak with homeowners about exterior cleaning services such as house washing, driveways, sidewalks, patios, decks, porches, and other exterior surfaces. Identify properties that may benefit from cleaning and professionally introduce our services. Distribute company flyers and explain current pricing and bundle savings. Generate interested leads and help homeowners request a quote or schedule service. Accurately record leads so sales can be credited to you. Represent Shirley Exterior Cleaning professionally and respectfully. Respect No Soliciting signs, private property, and homeowner requests. Provide basic feedback about neighborhoods, customer interest, and common questions. What We're Looking For Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people. Friendly, professional, and dependable. Good communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Able to walk residential neighborhoods for several hours at a time. Reliable transportation to assigned areas is preferred. Sales or customer-service experience is helpful but not required. Compensation Hourly pay plus performance-based commission Commission earned on completed, paid jobs generated from your leads. Strong performers can earn significantly more than the base hourly rate. Flexible shifts, generally 2-5 hours at a time. Part-time position with the potential for additional hours as the business grows.
