Event Sales Coordinator Job Description An Event Sales Coordinator drives revenue by managing event bookings, conducting site tours, and coordinating logistics between clients and internal teams. They handle inquiries, create proposals/contracts, and ensure high customer satisfaction from inquiry to event execution. This role combines sales prospecting with detailed, operational planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse events, from weddings to corporate functions to social gatherings and vendor markets, while collaborating with vendors and clients to deliver memorable occasions. This job is an internal job. You are NOT the event planner for the guest/renter.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development:
Prospect new clients, respond to inquiries, conduct site tours, and negotiate contracts to meet revenue goals. Attend business gatherings and mingles with the community to attract new business.
Event Planning & Logistics:
Detail event orders (BEOs) and have available day-of, arrange internal catering or be liaison with external caterers, audio/visual setup, room blocks, and floor plans.

Oversee event set up and break down.
Client Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all preferences are documented and executed. Plan & help promote
Vendor Festivals and Live Music:
Maintain a vendor list and keep track/add/subtract vendors & live music. Coordinate day of arrival and layout.
Administrative Support:
Maintain CRM/client databases, process and keep track of payments/deposits, and prepare event reports. Coordinate with
Social Media:
to Promote Events and posts for
Event Sales & Inquiries Upselling:
Identify opportunities to increase event revenue through enhanced services or packages.
Required Skills & Qualifications Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication for client interaction and team coordination.
Organization:
Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Experience:
Previous experience in hospitality, sales, or event planning. Common Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in sales or event coordination. Salary +
Commission:
Base salary: $40,000•50,000 depending on experience Commission on venue rentals: 10% Commission on festival days or live music days: 3% commission Above (disclosed amount plus expenses•live music or vendor expenses, etc.)
Pay:
$40,000.00•$70,000.00 per year
