Plumbing Showroom Sales

Showcase has an immediate opening for an experienced Plumbing Showroom Salesperson - who will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, while helping clients choose the perfect products for their needs. Showcase offers a full selection of products including cabinetry, countertops, plumbing & lighting on display in their Showroom in Downtown Hastings. Showcase is a division of Dutton-Lainson Company, a leading wholesale, manufacturing & printing company in the Midwest.

Primary responsibilities include:

Customer Engagement:

Greet customers and provide exceptional service by addressing initial inquiries during consultations and scheduling future appointments.

Design Collaboration:

Learn customers want & offer product recommendations to fit their needs, for both in-stock and special-order products.

Sales Process:

Develop quotations, process sales orders, manage customer files, coordinate deliveries and handle returns efficiently. Ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up on pending orders.

Customer Inquiries:

Respond promptly to all customer inquiries, concerns or issues to ensure a positive experience.

Skill set needed:

• Knowledge base of various types of plumbing fixtures & installation methods, as well as the plumbing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word / PowerPoint / Excel and computer applications.
• Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
• Quick to learn new computer programs and design software.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Retail Sales Experience is a plus!

Pay:

$49,151.93 - $59,193.71 per year
