Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Associate with a preference for HVAC or plumbing knowledge. Solid computer skills are also preferred, as you will be on the computer for a big part of the day. Other duties will be answering the phone, stocking shelves, transferring material between branches and vendors, and maintaining a clean neat work area The ideal candidate will assist customers with product selections, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the overall success of our sales department.
Qualifications:
Counter Sales Representative:
(Preferred but not required skills and experience.)
- 3 years or more experience in the plumbing, heating, or HVAC trades (in the field)
- 3 years or more experience in the plumbing, heating, or HVAC wholesale
- 1 year or more experience selling HVAC and Minisplit systems.
- 3 years or more experience in sales
- 1 year or more experience in warehousing
- Bilingual or Multilingual
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with product inquiries and purchases.
- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide information on product features, pricing, and availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets.
- Keep abreast of product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in product offerings.
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
