Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Relationship Management- Build and maintain relationships with retail managers, buyers, and retail staff.
- Conduct regular account visits and provide ongoing product education and support.
- Maintain consistent communication with assigned accounts. Field Marketing
- Own a reliable personal vehicle and travel throughout New Jersey at least four days per week.
- Coordinate, schedule, and conduct your own pop-ups, vendor days, and product education sessions for retail staff.
- Execute merchandising drops, displays, signage, and promotional activations.
- Ensure marketing materials remain stocked, compliant, and professionally displayed, as well as track the distribution of physical and digital marketing materials. Sales Support
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Assist with new account onboarding and product launches.
- Help increase distribution, shelf space, and SKU penetration. Brand Representation
- Represent LADDS professionally at retail stores, trade events, networking events, and community activations.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all company brands and products. Social Media & Content
- Capture photos and videos during store visits, pop-ups, and other field marketing activities
- Create engaging social media content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide authentic field content. Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, merchandising, shelf placement, and new product launches.
- Report market intelligence to the Director of Wholesale to support pricing, procurement, product strategy, and future brand development. Reporting
- Maintain CRM notes after every account visit.
- Submit weekly reports detailing visits, trainings, pop-ups, merchandising, competitive insights, and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of industry sales, field marketing, retail management, brand ambassador, or outside sales experience preferred.
- Experience in retail customer service and/or hospitality is a plus.
- Knowledge of the New Jersey retail and wholesale market.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Must be outgoing, attentive, and comfortable engaging in conversation with customers and clients
- Team-oriented work mentality with the ability to be self-sufficient.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience coordinating pop-ups, events, and product education.
- Social media content creation experience.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle and ability to transport pop-up setup materials.
- Willingness to travel throughout New Jersey at least four days per week.
- Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform physical tasks like setting up and breaking down pop up table setup, loading/unloading pop up setup and marketing materials from a vehicle, and carrying them in/out of dispensaries
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
QUARTERLY INCENTIVE PLAN
This position participates in a quarterly incentive plan designed to reward measurable contributions to revenue growth, retail execution, and brand expansion. - Retail partner satisfaction and account support
- Social media content creation and field marketing contributions
- CRM compliance and weekly reporting accuracy
- Achievement of quarterly territory objectives established by the Director of Wholesale The incentive plan is designed to reward employees who consistently execute at a high level, drive measurable sell-through, strengthen retail partnerships, and contribute to the long-term growth of LADDS.
