Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service for a large furniture distrivution company. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to engage customers effectively. You will play a crucial role in promoting our products, conducting product demos, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential customers. Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and track performance metrics. Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately. Supervise and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Experience Previous experience in sales is preferred. Experience in the furniture industry is a strong plus but not required. Some driving and travelling required. Strong basic math skills are required for handling transactions and inventory management. Experience in supervising or training staff is advantageous but not mandatory.
