Job Description

Help Customers Navigate Their Home Improvement Journey NJA Remodeling & Home Improvements LLC is a growing home improvement company specializing in door and window installation services for one of the nation's leading home improvement retailers. We are looking for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences, even when challenges arise. This is not a scripted call center position. Every day brings new situations, from coordinating installation schedules to helping homeowners through unexpected issues such as damaged products, manufacturer delays, or installation obstacles. Success in this role comes from staying calm under pressure, communicating proactively, and finding solutions that keep projects moving forward and customers informed. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who enjoy solving problems, managing customer relationships, and coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive when every day is different and take pride in helping customers through challenging situations, you'll be successful in this role. If you've worked in customer success, customer experience, account management, retail management, project coordination, or high-volume customer service, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the installation process. Schedule and coordinate door and window installations with customers, installers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Build trust with customers through proactive communication and regular project updates. Resolve issues quickly and professionally when products arrive damaged, deliveries are delayed, or installation plans need to change. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping customers informed and engaged. De-escalate customer concerns and transform challenging situations into positive service experiences. Partner closely with installers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure successful project completion. Track project status, maintain accurate records, and document customer interactions. Utilize scheduling tools, Google Maps, Outlook, Teams and other software to coordinate daily operations. Identify process improvements that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. What Makes Someone Successful in This Role You stay positive and professional when faced with difficult customer situations. You are highly organized and can manage many moving pieces at once. You adapt quickly when plans change unexpectedly. You are resourceful and enjoy finding solutions rather than focusing on problems. You communicate clearly and confidently with customers, contractors, and team members. You are resilient and don't get discouraged after a challenging call or difficult day. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, customer success, account management, project coordination, or a related customer-facing role. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and common scheduling software. Preferred Experience with doors, windows, millwork, construction, home improvement, or building materials. Experience working with a major home improvement retailer. Experience coordinating field service teams, deliveries, installations, or subcontractors. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
