Territory Sales Representative (Ohio Region) Aleron United States, York, Arcade Jul 30, 2026 Description
Seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Representative to expand and deepen our presence in the outdoor living, hearth, and heating categories. This role is designed for a proven industry professional who understands the technical, relational, and commercial dynamics of selling through dealer networks to contractor and installer channels. This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for a recognized, respected operator in the space-someone who can immediately engage dealers, influence buying decisions, and drive revenue growth through disciplined execution and strong relationships.
Core Responsibilities
Territory Growth & Revenue Generation
Own and grow a defined territory across hearth, grills, outdoor heating, and related product categories
Expand existing dealer relationships while aggressively prospecting and onboarding new accounts
Drive revenue through dealer sell-in and support dealer sell-through to contractors and end customers
Channel Development
Build strong relationships with:
Independent dealers
Appliance retailers
Outdoor and Hearth resellers
Understand contractor needs and influence dealer stocking decisions accordingly
Sales Execution & Closing
Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities
Distinguish between real pipeline opportunities and low-probability conversations
Maintain a disciplined sales funnel with clear next steps and follow-up
Technical & Product Expertise
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of installation, venting, fuel types, and product applications
Act as a trusted advisor to dealers and contractors on product selection and use cases
CRM & Reporting Discipline
Manage pipeline, accounts, and activities within CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking
Use CRM as a system of execution-not just reporting
Market Intelligence
Provide feedback on competitor activity, pricing, and product gaps
Identify opportunities for new product placement and category expansion
Qualifications & Experience
Industry Background (Required)
Direct experience in outdoor living, hearth, grills, heating, HVAC, or appliance channels
Experience selling to dealers, distributors, or contractor-facing businesses
Familiarity with installation environments and technical product considerations
Sales Profile
Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding territory targets
Strong follow-up discipline and pipeline management
Ability to operate independently in a field-based, travel-heavy role
Professional Presence
Known and respected within relevant industry circles
Commands credibility with dealers, contractors, and partners
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Technical Orientation
Comfortable discussing installation, specifications, and product performance
Able to translate technical features into commercial value
Tools & Systems
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred but not required)
Proficient in managing territory activity and reporting

Target Salary:
