Business Purpose The PEO Sales Consultant serves as the primary driver of business development and revenue growth for Warner Pacific's PEO practice. By focusing on prospecting, broker relationships, consultative selling, and closing new business, this role expands Warner Pacific's market presence while partnering closely with the PEO Inside Sales Consultant, who manages sales execution, pipeline coordination, reporting, and implementation support. Together, these positions create a dedicated, scalable sales model that increases productivity, improves the broker experience, and supports Warner Pacific's long-term PEO growth strategy Position Summary The PEO Sales Consultant is a dedicated business development professional responsible for driving the growth of Warner Pacific's PEO business throughout New York. Working as a strategic partner to the PEO Inside Sales Consultant, this role develops broker relationships, identifies new opportunities, delivers consultative PEO solutions, and leads the sales process from initial prospecting through close. Together, the Inside and the Sales Consultants function as a dedicated sales team focused on expanding Warner Pacific's PEO market presence. Reports To PEO Sales Leadership Primary Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Develop and manage a pipeline of new PEO opportunities through broker prospecting and relationship management. Meet with brokers and employer groups to identify PEO opportunities and present Warner Pacific's value proposition. Drive new broker recruitment by positioning Warner Pacific's PEO capabilities. Develop annual sales plans and achieve assigned production goals. Represent Warner Pacific at broker meetings, networking events, trade shows, and educational seminars. Consultative Sales Leadership Serve as the primary PEO subject matter expert for brokers and Sales Consultants. Evaluate employer needs and recommend PEO solutions when appropriate. Lead sales presentations, finalist meetings, and proposal reviews. Negotiate opportunities and guide prospects through the sales process to close. Partnership with the Inside Sales Consultant Work closely with the PEO Inside Sales Consultant to ensure opportunities move efficiently through the sales cycle. Delegate pipeline coordination, reporting, implementation tracking, and administrative activities to maximize time spent selling. Review pipeline activity, prioritize opportunities, and establish weekly sales objectives. Provide strategic direction on active opportunities while the Inside Sales Consultant coordinates execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales Consultants on joint sales opportunities while maintaining the established compensation structure. Collaborate with PEO partners, underwriting teams, and internal departments throughout the sales process. Support other Warner Pacific markets when specialized PEO expertise is needed. Success Measures New broker relationships developed Qualified PEO pipeline New business production Close ratio Revenue growth Broker satisfaction Effective collaboration with the PEO Inside Sales Consultant Qualifications 8+ years of employee benefits, PEO, or business-to-business sales experience. Demonstrated success developing broker relationships and generating new business. Strong consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM systems. Knowledge of PEO, employee benefits, alternative funding strategies, and broker distribution is strongly preferred. Compensation Salary Range
- $108,750
- $145,000 annually, plus bonus.
