Established in 1991, Finger Lakes Dairy Services Inc. is based in Seneca Falls with products and services provided to dairy customers in Central, Northern and Western NY state. Our company is based on growing and building relationships to help our customers reach their fullest potential and solving any issues that they may have. Our professional and friendly route sales consultants call on farms with a wide variety of items including animal health products, sanitation chemicals, and other items important to the efficiency of our new and existing customers farms. What we're looking for... Motivated and self driven Route Sales Professional to visit our current and potential customers to sell top tier tool products like Milwaukee and DeWalt to new and existing customers. Provide inventory checks of their chemicals and offer additional products. Order more if needed and selling additional through a consultative approach. Also must be driven to expand our territory and have a positive attitude to help our customers reach their greatest potential while reaching ours. Benefits of the position.... RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain relationships with our current dairy producer base as well as develop new customer relationships. Work to build the reputation of the company and the products we sell. Delivery of products and services on a regular schedule to your assigned route Sell full line of milking products, supplies, equipment and parts You will be trained to perform wash-up and troubleshooting services as required, and ensure related service are done on a timely matter for the Aftermarket customers Drive Dairy Delivery vehicle, and maintain the vehicle and products necessary to complete job Maintain inventory,generate invoices and orders for services performed or products sold on a timely basis Customer service support to generate leads and relationships for the service and capital sales departments.

REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of the dairy industry and/or 2 years of sales experience Ability to travel locally in designated territory Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills Motivated, self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a team Competitive and outgoing, sales and technically oriented Strong communicator with the ability to influence others English speaking (Spanish is a plus but not required) Works well individually as well as in a team
