Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base within the steel fabrication and contract manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for developing business relationships, reviewing customer requirements and technical drawings, preparing quotations, and coordinating with internal production teams to ensure customer expectations are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with proven business-to-business sales experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and customer RFQs Prepare accurate quotations and follow up on sales opportunities Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality departments Identify customer needs and recommend manufacturing solutions Track projects from quotation through production and delivery Maintain organized customer records, pricing, and communication logs Assist with scheduling and prioritization of customer requirements Support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives Qualifications The ideal candidate would have previous B2B sales experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated with strong follow-through abilities CAD proficiency is a plus Experience with welding, machining, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing preferred Education Requirements A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent such as a GED, is required. Bachelor's or Associate's Degree is highly preferred. Technical school and/or practical experience is highly preferred.
