A Sales Consultant promotes and sells products or services on behalf of a company, and develops strategies to increase sales. Recruits new clients and builds relationships with customers, vendors and suppliers. Works with company sales staff to increase product knowledge and develop marketing strategies. May travel to meet with clients, generate new sales and maintain contact with customers.

Job Description

Sales consultants work 9 AM to 6 PM each weekday and 9 AM to 3 PM every other Saturday. Flexibility around those hours is critical in our customer focused environment. Additional hours may be necessary during peak volume times.
Pay:
Pay is commission-based with a small weekly base salary added. In general, the base salary represents 20% of the yearly pay. Yearly pay is highly depended on sales success.
Other Compensation:
Individual health insurance paid by the company up to $315 per month (eligible after 30 days, family members extra) 13 vacation days per year (extra vacation after 5 years) Dealership employee pricing on new vehicles Employer sponsored pension plan (up to 3% of yearly salary) Long-Term Bonus Program (begins after 3 years) Free College Degree Programs through Strayer University Requirements of this job are: Valid Driver's License Minimum education of HS diploma or equivalent Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word Proficient with Internet Explorer & Email The qualified candidate will have: Strong math skills Confidence speaking with customers and answering their questions Openness to feedback from peers, managers and customers Willingness to learn the sales process, techniques and best practices of our trade Determination to learn from & correct mistakes Ability to accept failure and "get 'em next time" Desire to be part of a highly successful team Please email resume & position of interest to marc.blevins@blevinsbros.com
