Job Description
Marketing & Sales Specialist — Powersports DealershipJob Summary The Marketing & Sales Specialist is responsible for driving dealership sales, generating new customer leads, promoting powersports products and services, and building a strong dealership online presence. This position combines hands-on sales with creative marketing to increase showroom traffic, online engagement, customer retention, and overall dealership revenue. This will be an 80% marketing and 20% sales position. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote inventory, sales events, promotions, and dealership services
- Manage and create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Photograph all new and used inventory for online marketplaces and dealership websites.
- Create and maintain outside, upper warehouse and showroom displays for all units.
- Display and update manufacturer POP displays throughout the dealership.
- Coordinate promotional events, demo days, customer appreciation events, and seasonal sales campaigns.
- Manage the dealership, YouTube channel, and Google business page.
- Stay current on product features, industry trends, competitor activity, and manufacturer promotions.
- Back up the sales department to sell motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and personal watercraft as needed.
- Follow up on leads through phone calls, email, text, social media, and dealership CRM systems. Qualifications
- Previous sales, marketing, retail, automotive, or powersports experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with being on camera, shooting and editing videos.
- Understand Google, SMS, SEO, SEM, retargeting, Meta insights, and Google ad words.
- Competent using social media and digital marketing platforms.
- Proven ability to create engaging social media content that resonates with the target audience and drives brand awareness for Dax Powersports.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software and CRM systems.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Passion for power sports products is a must.
- Valid driver's license required, motorcycle endorsement a plus.
