Job Description

Established in 1997, The Cheshire Horse is a leading source for horse, pet, and farm supplies. We offer the best and largest selection possible, backed up by knowledgeable staff and great customer service. Our retail locations and our website stock everything needed to equip you, your horse, your pets, and your barn. We're seeking experienced equine sales professionals to join our team in Swanzey, NH, and Saratoga Springs, NY. The ideal candidate brings two or more years of retail sales experience in the equine industry, along with a genuine passion for riding and hands-on knowledge of the English riding world, including horse showing, tack, supplies, and more. You'll be a part of our friendly team to help riders and horse owners find exactly what they need to meet their goals. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we'd love to hear from you! Duties will include (but not be limited to): Provide personalized customer service in the store and over the phone Ability to travel in an outside sales capacity as necessary Work with purchasers and manufacturers to place special orders Courteously handle accurate sales, refunds, and exchange transactions Assist with maintaining store displays and merchandising Other duties as assigned Desired skills and experience: 2+ years equine sales experience in a retail environment A passionate rider with knowledge of the English riding industry, horse showing, and equestrian tack and supplies Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to help customers meet their riding and horse care goals Saddle fitting experience a plus
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
