The right candidate is a seasoned professional, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. managed a quota, closed complex deals, and developed strong client relationships. The candidates understands the challenges of sales and have the resilience that comes from real-world experience. The candidates must have strong communication skills and attention to details. Industry experience is a plus, not a requirements. Great sales people can learn any industry. We will teach you ours! This is a full time position, M - F. The pay is commensurate with the experience. The company offers a competitive benefits package. Key Responsibilities
  • Cold call into designated target markets to build new customer relationships
  • Represent the company at trade shows to generate new leads
  • Make warm calls to previously engaged or referred prospects
  • Conduct face-to-face (F2F) visits with prospective customers
  • Qualify inbound and self-sourced leads before handing off to Sales
  • Coordinate trade show participation with the Revenue Manager
  • Request brochures, catalogs, and trade show materials from the Marketing Assistant as needed Pipeline & CRM Management
  • Log all outreach activity, call notes, and lead status in the CRM
  • Maintain and update the target account list of in-scope markets and companies
  • Track activity-to-conversion metrics (calls → qualified leads → handed-off opportunities) to support the Revenue Manager's KPI and incentive program Research & Targeting
  • Research target accounts prior to outreach (industry, equipment in use, likely pain points)
  • Identify new target markets or verticals for expansion beyond the existing list
  • Monitor competitor activity and flag displacement opportunities in target accounts Hand-Off Quality
  • Document context when handing a lead to Sales (discussion notes, budget signals, timeline, decision-maker)
  • Apply a consistent qualification standard (e.g., budget, authority, need, timeline) before a lead count as "qualified" Trade Shows & Events
  • Conduct pre-show outreach to book meetings with target accounts ahead of each show
  • Follow up on booth leads within a defined window after each show Nurture & Reporting
  • Follow up with not-yet-ready prospects on a set cadence rather than one-time outreach
  • Periodically re-engage dormant or lost accounts
  • Provide a weekly pipeline and activity report to the Revenue Manager Works Closely With
  • Sales — for lead hand-off and coordinated account coverage
  • Marketing Assistant — for marketing collateral and trade show support
  • Revenue Manager — for target market direction, trade show planning, and KPI reporting Looking forward to you joining our team!
