Outside Sales Representative AM Industrial Group - 4.0 Brook Park, OH Job Details Full-time From $60,000 a year 9 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Outside sales Inside sales Field sales experience B2B sales Direct sales Full Job Description AM Industrial is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to convert inbound and repeat-customer demands into closed orders and serve as the primary point of contact for quoting and ongoing accounts relationships. The right candidate is a seasoned professional, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, managed a quota, closed complex deals, and developed strong client relationships. The candidates understands the challenges of sales and have the resilience that comes from real-world experience. The candidates must have strong communication skills and attention to details. Work experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo and Teams is preferred. Key Responsibilities
- Work leads generated from the company website
- Manage and grow relationships with repeat customers
- Support trade shows at a lighter cadence than Business Development
- Conduct a higher volume of face-to-face (F2F) customer visits
- Make warm calls to existing and past customers
- Handle customer service inquiries tied to active accounts and orders
- Prepare and issue customer quotes Quote-to-Close Process
- Follow up on outstanding quotes on a set cadence
- Track quote win/loss reasons to inform pricing and positioning
- Negotiate terms within approved pricing/discount authority, escalating anything outside it to the Revenue Manager Account Management
- Maintain account records and purchase history in the CRM (order cadence, products bought, contract/renewal dates)
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts (parts, accessories, service, etc.)
- Conduct periodic account check-ins with top repeat customers, not just reactive support Order Handoff & Accuracy
- Ensure order details (specs, delivery requirements, site access) are accurately captured and handed to Operations/Rigging PM
- Confirm order acknowledgment and delivery timelines back to the customer
- Attend weekly production meetings - pick order related components as needed, work with production & purchasing teams on component sourcing as needed. Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain an accurate sales forecast/pipeline for the Revenue Manager
- Report on monthly sales target and activity metrics Customer Retention
- Monitor at-risk accounts (declining order frequency, complaints) and flag them proactively
- Support renewal/repeat-purchase timing so accounts don't lapse unnoticed
Works Closely With:
- Business Development — receives qualified leads and coordinates target accounts
- Customer Service — shares front-line customer support responsibilities
- Marketing Assistant — for customer-facing materials
- Revenue Manager — for pricing, lead processes, quoting standards, and forecasting Industry experience is a plus, not a requirement.
