Job Summary The Aggregate Sales Representative is responsible for sales growth, profitability, and account penetration in the Aggregate line of business. Main Responsibilities
Identify, research, and qualify prospective customers and markets
Evaluate potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, products and demands, delivery capabilities, risks, and customer support
Maintain customer quotations, order entry, backlog reporting, accounts receivable coordination, and overall customer experience
Collaborate with customer, production, and material distribution teams to ensure effective execution of customer requirements
Educate customers on the selection and application of aggregate materials and logistics required to fulfill contract requirements
Establish pricing strategies that balance profitability with longterm territory and company objectives
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to product or service issues
Partner closely with the Accounts Receivable team to manage collections and meet DOS targets
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education Bachelor's Degree preferred in sales/marketing, related field, or equivalent experience of 5+ years of aggregate sales Skills
Minimum of 5 years' progressive sales experience of aggregate construction materials and service
Knowledge of aggregate construction materials application
Knowledge of negotiation tactics, bid processes, pricing indexes and current costs
Experience with city, county, state, federal commercial bidding/award procedures
Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Strong organizational skills
Strong math and computer skills with problem solving ability
MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint and experience
Previous experience with CRM programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
