DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain, Apparel to lead a high-energy sales floor in our retail store. In this role, you'll coach and motivate associates, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure our apparel department looks game-day ready. You'll guide customers on fit, function, and performance gear, maintain visual standards, and support inventory, pricing, and promotions. Responsibilities Lead and motivate apparel sales associates to achieve daily sales and service goals. Deliver outstanding customer service, product recommendations, and fit guidance. Oversee apparel floor merchandising, signage, and brand presentation standards. Monitor inventory levels, restock, and support loss prevention efforts. Train new associates on service standards, product knowledge, and POS procedures. Coordinate daily tasks, zone coverage, and break schedules for the apparel team. Support execution of promotions, price changes, and seasonal sets. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling as assigned.
