Sales Coordinator

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Fort Recovery. This position is responsible for the coordination of the FR Egg Sales Department, allowing for egg processing locations to plan production time for best efficiency and will communicate customer specifications and delivery requirements with production and transportation areas. This position will need to learn and retain knowledge of customer specifications, packs, practices, production goals, and scheduling needs. Confidentiality in this position is critical.

Monday through Friday 1st shift

STARTING RATE

Commensurate with experience

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions:

Schedule customer orders at various plants, ensure plants received the orders, and are entered correctly by sales assistants Communicate daily order changes to all involved parties both internally and externally in a timely fashion Track orders and status of commitments and allotments for customers on a weekly basis Ensure proper communication is maintained between departments to ensure product delivery in a timely manner Provide backup to the Egg Sales Assistants as needed Ensure all outside purchases meet standards, are completed through purchasing and receiving, and tracked Assist sales department with various tasks including credit memos, sales reports, and egg projections Validate daily pricing for customer invoicing Assist with answering sales phone line and direct calls as needed while providing the upmost customer service Work with purchasing to ensure proper packaging is available for all orders and future orders Associate's Degree in sales or related business field, or a minimum 3 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or business related position. Similar experience with Cooper Farms will be considered in lieu of education requirement Experience in planning, organizing, and scheduling is preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong customer service focus with a goal of complete customer satisfaction is expected Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs preferred Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, be detail oriented, and be able to work cooperatively in a small office setting Cooper Farms consistently works to be more than a workplace to our team members.
