Job Description
Showroom Sales Coordinator for our new Design House CRD Construction — Maumee, Ohio Full-time | $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience, plus performance bonus opportunities About Toledo Design House Toledo Design House is a curated home-improvement showroom where homeowners, contractors and designers can compare tile, flooring, countertop materials, sinks and fixtures in one place. We are also home to Toledo Custom Countertops and CRD Construction, allowing us to connect customers with countertop fabrication and installation, remodeling and construction services when their projects require them. About the Position We are looking for a friendly, confident and highly organized Showroom Sales Coordinator to guide customers through the showroom while helping keep daily operations organized. This is primarily a customer-facing sales position with light administrative responsibilities. You will welcome customers, learn about their projects, help them compare materials, prepare and follow up on quotes and make sure opportunities do not fall through the cracks. You do not need to be an interior designer or know every product on your first day. You do need to learn quickly, communicate professionally, stay organized and confidently move customers toward a decision. Responsibilities Welcome walk-in customers and scheduled appointments Ask questions to understand each customer's project, style, budget and timeline Help customers compare tile, flooring, countertop materials, sinks and fixtures Turn showroom interest into consultations, quotes, orders and qualified opportunities Prepare basic quotes, sales documents and product orders accurately Follow up consistently on open quotes, samples, leads and customer decisions Answer incoming phone calls and emails Schedule showroom appointments and project consultations Office organization and light cleaning Maintain accurate customer notes, sales activity and follow-up dates Coordinate countertop opportunities with Toledo Custom Countertops Connect remodeling and construction opportunities with CRD Construction Communicate with vendors regarding samples, pricing, availability and orders Keep displays, samples and customer areas organized and presentation-ready Assist with light data entry, filing and other routine administrative tasks The Right Person The ideal candidate is personable and helpful without being pushy. You should be comfortable starting conversations, making recommendations and asking for the next step or sale. You should also be the type of person who notices what needs to be done, follows through and does not require constant reminders. Qualifications Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail or administrative support Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organized, dependable and detail-oriented Comfortable following up with customers by phone, email and text Able to manage several customers and open tasks at once Comfortable using email, basic office software and customer-management systems Willing and able to learn product specifications, pricing and ordering procedures Basic measurement and math skills Showroom, flooring, tile, countertop, interior-design or construction experience is helpful but not required Ability to safely move and organize product samples as needed Schedule This is a full-time, daytime position. Occasional Saturday availability may be required based on showroom traffic and scheduled appointments.
