As a Beck's Seed Advisor, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth by being a Master Recruiter, Leader of Dealers, and Master of Beck's SeedIQ systems to have differentiated sales conversations. Additionally, this position is expected to promote and support the company vision, policies, programs and products by setting clear expectations and coaching the dealer team to meet such expectations. This position will serve the marketing territory of Northern Ohio , which would focus on Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Wood, Hancock, Seneca, Erie, Shelby, Allen, and Auglaize counties . Seed experience is preferred, but at least 5 years of customer facing experience in agriculture is required. Master Recruiter Proactively grow network of contacts for dealer and customer prospects. Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop dealer candidates aligned with Beck's growth objectives. Utilize Beck's personnel to assist in relationship development, interviews, problem solving and/or negotiate as needed to assist in the dealer recruitment and hiring efforts. Leader of Dealers Establish clear sales growth expectations, performance objectives, and operational standards while providing accountability, coaching, and leadership to drive sales growth. Coach/develop dealers to independently lead customer relationships, deliver exceptional service/operations and expand market share. Collaborate with internal teams to support dealership operations including licensing, account management, inventory coordination, distribution, customer issue resolution, and adherence to year end Best Management Practices. Master of Beck's Seed IQ systems Use Seed IQ in the sales process to engage in differentiated conversations with customers, prospects, dealers and dealer prospects. Promote, educate, and lead dealers to master SeedIQ Become knowledgeable on all Seed IQ systems Perform other related duties as may be required by the Area Team Leader, Regional Business Manager or the Director of Sales and Marketing Job Requirements 1.

Education and training:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy, Ag Economics, Marketing, Sales or five (5) years sales experience or demonstrated seed sales success CCA preferred Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck's automobile policy This is a safety-sensitive position. 2.

Technical knowledge:

Proficiency with relevant computer and software skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proven sales, negotiation and management skills Ability to identify and resolve agronomic challenges Chauffeur License or equivalent is required Learn and master Beck's SeedIQ systems 3.

Experience:

Prior experience in management preferred Recruitment experience preferred Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives Five years sales and agronomic experience 4. Physical Demands Ability to pass DOT physical and obtain Medical Examiner's Certificate may be required Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted
