Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Sales BDC Agent at Gilchrist Auto is responsible for managing and enhancing customer relationships through effective communication and sales strategies. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online inquiries to generate sales appointments and ensure customer satisfaction. The Sales BDC Agent plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and supporting the dealership's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Schedule sales appointments and follow up with potential customers to ensure their needs are met. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Gilchrist Auto's product offerings and services to effectively communicate with customers. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing dealership traffic and sales conversions. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and update records accurately. Conduct follow-up communication with customers post-appointment to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about industry trends and dealership updates. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis. Provide exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the automotive industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and customer service expectations. Experience with CRM software and database management.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and team members. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with automotive sales processes. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to handling inquiries and resolving issues. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate resilience in a dynamic sales environment.
