Responsibilities Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on RV electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and diesel engines using hand tools and power tools. Conduct diagnostic assessments utilizing automotive electrical systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills to identify issues accurately. Execute mechanical repairs including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and transmission repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and maintain RV plumbing systems and electrical wiring, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Assist customers by explaining repair options, providing product recommendations, and supporting sales efforts with enthusiasm and professionalism. Use welding, soldering, carpentry, and equipment repair skills to address various structural or mechanical needs on-site. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and ensure all work meets quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven dealership experience or background in automotive or RV repair is highly preferred. Hands-on service technician experience with electrical repair, automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with RV electrical system diagnostics and plumbing system repair is a strong plus. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, brake systems—including air brakes—and suspension components such as shocks & struts. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting tasks required for comprehensive vehicle maintenance. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to clients. Prior experience in sales within an automotive or RV environment is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for engaging customers is essential.
