Job Description
Key Responsibilities Prospect and develop new commercial, industrial, construction, and municipal accounts throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, territory canvassing, site visits, and lead follow-up. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects. Meet with business owners, property managers, contractors, facility managers, and other decision-makers to understand their waste and recycling needs. Present customized service solutions including front-load, rear-load, roll-off, compactor, recycling, and special waste services as applicable. Prepare and deliver pricing proposals, service agreements, and contract recommendations. Negotiate pricing, service terms, and contract details to close profitable new business. Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, activity targets, and revenue expectations. Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers to increase retention and long-term account growth. Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure service satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities. Partner with operations, dispatch, customer service, and billing teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally by coordinating with internal teams. Monitor account performance, service levels, and customer needs to identify opportunities for additional services. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, proposals, contracts, and follow-up tasks. Manage an assigned sales territory within the Dallas area. Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer needs. Identify target industries and high-opportunity accounts, including commercial businesses, property management companies, construction sites, manufacturing facilities, retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, and industrial accounts. Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, networking events, industry functions, and community opportunities. Collaborate with leadership to develop territory strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion. Required Qualifications Previous outside sales experience required. Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, negotiate, and close new business. Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field. Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up consistently. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and customer service teams. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications Waste, recycling, hauling, environmental services, construction, transportation, logistics, equipment rental, or B2B service sales experience preferred.
