Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine, Fishing, and Industrial industry is looking for a reliable and experienced Industrial Retail Sales person to join our team at our Astoria, OR location. If you are an upbeat individual who likes working with the public and being a part of a growing company where your efforts can make a difference, then this is the job for you! Our store and our customers need a person who really enjoys working with customers and is the solution to all of their product needs. The ideal candidate has an industrial product background and is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality, who wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work! Duties include but are not limited to: Working with retail customers to help them find the right parts for their needs Research hard-to-find products to help people find those parts that are not currently in stock. We pride ourselves in helping each and every customer fill all their needs! Process customer orders using a computer system Purchase some products direct from vendors Merchandise the store to facilitate additional sales Restock shelves from back stock and new shipments

Skills Required:

KNOWLEDGE OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS A MUST

Knowledge of Welding and Industrial tools and equipment Outstanding customer service skills Computer experience is a big plus! Purchasing experience a plus Possess excellent attention to detail

Time Requirements:

Job is Monday - Friday with rotating weekends throughout the year Base hours are 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Longer hours are sometimes required during busy times or special events Wage DOE; starting at $22.00 an hour Our excellent benefits include Profit Sharing, 401K, Personal Time Off, Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.
