Job Description
Castile Kitchen & Bath is looking for an experienced, driven, and highly personable Design Consultant to join our team. This is not a traditional sales position. Our Design Consultants guide homeowners through one of the biggest and most personal investments they will make in their home. You will build relationships, develop qualified opportunities, guide clients through the sales and design process, and help create projects that are successful for both the homeowner and Castile. We are a full-service design-build remodeling company specializing in high-end kitchen and bathroom remodels. We believe great remodeling starts with great relationships, thoughtful communication, realistic expectations, and a process clients can trust. What You'll Do Build & Manage the Sales Pipeline Respond promptly to incoming leads and manage opportunities in our CRM. Develop new opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, community involvement, and past-client relationships. Represent Castile professionally at home shows, networking events, and community functions. Qualify prospects and determine whether the client and project are a good fit. Lead the Sales Process Conduct in-home consultations and uncover client goals, priorities, motivations, and concerns. Establish realistic investment expectations early in the process. Guide clients through Design Agreements and Construction Agreements. Develop project direction and work closely with our Designers throughout design development. Monitor project scope and investment throughout the process. Review scope, selections, labor, materials, and pricing before the sale. Present Construction Agreements, confidently ask for the sale, and negotiate scope while protecting client value and company profitability. Own the Client Relationship Remain the client's primary connection to Castile from initial inquiry through project completion. Set expectations and communicate clearly through transitions between Sales, Design, and Production. Coordinate design handoffs and maintain accurate project documentation. Stay connected throughout production and support client communication and Change Orders when needed. Advocate for the client while balancing their needs with company standards, project scope, and profitability. Help create an experience that leads to client satisfaction, referrals, and testimonials. Help Build a Better Sales Department Maintain accurate CRM information, forecasting, and sales reporting. Participate in sales meetings, training, project reviews, and continuous improvement. Help develop and improve sales systems, processes, playbooks, and client communication. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, and Production. Use lessons learned from completed projects to improve future sales and client experiences. Love systems, organization, and staying on top of details. Are tech-savvy and comfortable learning CRM, project management, communication, and reporting tools. Are motivated by goals and take ownership of your results. Have strong emotional intelligence and understand that remodeling can be both exciting and stressful. Are a problem solver who looks for solutions. Work collaboratively and respect the distinct roles of Sales, Design, and Production. Are coachable, curious, and committed to continuous improvement.
