Exempt Summary:
Sells manufactured housing products to wholesalers or developers on a commission basis by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Contacts retailers and arranges to provide them with products.
  • Calls on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Demonstrates products and points out salable features.
  • Answers questions concerning products such as price, credit terms, and durability.
  • Completes sales contracts or forms to record required sales information.
  • Assists in the process of shipment/delivery of homes and collection of payment in a timely manner.
  • Promotes products at trade shows and conferences. Competencies

  • Must be able to provide a high level of customer service
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and follow through with requests for assistance
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must live the Champion Operating Principles Qualifications
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous sales experience in manufactured/modular housing desired
