In this role, you will be asked to provide exceptional service to retail customers, outside sales reps, and shop mechanics. You will need to accurately identify, look up, and sell automotive/truck components while building lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Greet customers with prompt, courteous service Invoice and sell parts, handle transactions, and follow dealership credit policies Directly assist mechanics and outside sales representatives at the counter to ensure shop and field efficiency Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate orders, and make proactive weekly sales and follow-up calls to customers Maintain strong familiarity with inventory products, merchandising programs, and ordering systems. Pull parts orders for customers and safely operate a forklift when required Learn about new products, attend scheduled training classes, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge Perform additional supporting tasks, problem-solving duties, or related assignments as required by management Qualifications & Requirements Prior Parts Counter experience is required High School Diploma or equivalent. General mechanical aptitude with a solid familiarity of automotive/truck components. High computer proficiency. Experience with ADP/CDK Automotive DMS systems is highly preferred. Exceptional verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, high customer service aptitude, and a sharp focus on detail and accuracy.
