Understands vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features, comparing and contrasting competitive models, and inspecting vehicles.

Job Description

Keep current with new products and promotions. Manage existing customers. Seek and develop new customers. This includes personal visits to existing and potential new customers in an assigned territory. Learn the Kenworth truck specing process, proposal development, order completion, and deal closure procedures. Be an effective administrator and have the ability to communicate. Previous sales experience with heavy duty trucks highly desirable. Sales experience with automobiles and/or heavy equipment will also be considered. Excellent customer service experience and strong communication skills. Must be reliable, friendly, customer focused and team oriented. Solid time management, analytical skills, and computer skills are necessary Class B or A CDL (including manual shift transmissions) is preferred upon hire. A minimum of a CDL learner's permit will be required within six months of employment
