Job Description
A well-capitalised and growing commercial fitness equipment and flooring company is seeking a Business Development Representative to step into a remote and career-defining role in Dallas-Fort Worth. The successful candidate will develop business across the multifamily sector, covering active adult communities, student housing, and apartment developments. The successful candidate would own one of the fastest-growing multifamily regions in the country, Dallas-Fort Worth. This role is centered around building relationships with apartment developers, property management companies, owners, architects, and other decision-makers involved in multifamily projects. You'll be responsible for generating new business, managing a consultative sales process from prospecting through to project completion, conducting site visits, working with sales support staff to develop presentations, presenting tailored solutions, and developing long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will already understand the Dallas multifamily market. You may have sold products into apartment developers or property managers, or come from a background in multifamily development, construction, property management, commercial interiors, amenities, or a related industry. Experience within commercial fitness is beneficial, equally beneficial is the willingness to learn. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Demonstrable experience selling into or working within the multifamily sector for at least 2 years. Existing relationships with developers, owners, property managers, architects, or general contractors. Proven ability to generate new business and manage a consultative sales process. An interest in fitness. Strong relationship-building and networking skills. Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently. Comfortable learning CRM, quoting, and sales software (Salesforce/MS Office experience preferred). Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory. Valid driver's license and ability to conduct regular client site visits. The company is looking for someone who is self-motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable building a new territory from the ground up. You'll receive structured onboarding, ongoing product and sales training, regular coaching where desired, and the support needed to become a technical expert in the market. The position offers a base salary of $75,000 plus uncapped commission, health benefits, 401(k) matching, mileage reimbursement, and a clear long-term career path within a growing organization. OTE in Year 1 is an estimated $100,000. The company can reference successful employees who have built their book of business and are now managing significant pipeline and commensurate take-home earnings.
