Strauss hospitality brands by coordinating client bookings, managing sales documentation, and assisting with revenue-generating activities related to meetings, events, and group dining experiences. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring accurate and timely execution of bookings. The Sales Coordinator will also support client relationship development and sales initiatives, including outreach, follow-up, and business development support. This position works closely with the Director of Sales and plays an active role in the sales process, with opportunities to take on increased responsibility over time based on performance and business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Sales Support & Coordination Prepare and coordinate contracts, proposals, and client communications to support the sales process. Manage incoming inquiries, qualify leads, and gather necessary booking details. Coordinate booking details including reservations, meeting space, catering, event logistics, billing, and client documentation. Ensure all information is accurate, complete, and communicated effectively to internal teams. Process deposits, payments, and refunds in accordance with company procedures. Client Engagement & Relationship Support Serve as a point of contact for client questions, updates, and requests. Support client communication from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, group leaders, and industry partners. Sales Development & Business Support Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through outreach, follow-up, and networking support. Support outbound sales initiatives, including prospecting, account research, and lead generation. Develop familiarity with assigned markets, accounts, and sales strategies. Maintain knowledge of product offerings, meeting space, catering options, and pricing across all applicable brands. Systems, Reporting & Organization Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and booking information in CRM and reservation systems. Assist with tracking sales activity, reporting, and data entry. Support preparation of sales reports and performance tracking as requested. Collaboration & Team Support Work closely with the Director of Sales and internal departments to support successful execution of meetings and events. Assist in troubleshooting client concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Attend meetings as required and contribute to team initiatives. Other Responsibilities Support specialty events and sales initiatives as needed. Attend tradeshows, networking events, or sales-related activities as requested. Complete additional job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hospitality sales , including experience with meetings, events, group dining, or related revenue streams, required. Demonstrated experience working directly with clients in a sales or account management capacity. Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and support revenue-generating activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM and/or booking systems preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Flexibility to travel as required with valid driving credentials.
