Temporary Sales Associate (Part-Time)

The Sales Associate will function as a member of the Retail Team and will provide friendly and efficient service to Sight and Sound Theatre's guests and employees in concessions, merchandise, and other areas of guest services. The Sales Associate position follows a show run schedule from Tuesday through Saturday. This role has different start and leave times scheduled between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm on Fridays, and 8:00 am to 10:30 pm on Saturdays (depending on show schedules). Lastly, the expectation is that the employee will work up to 28 hours per week.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Consistently practice "Outstanding" customer service with both external and internal guests. Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to meet and exceed sales goals. Assist in all areas of guest services as assigned, including, but not limited to Concessions, Retail, Almond Stations, Theater Carts, and Usher/Greeting. Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards, including all stocking responsibilities. Become fully competent with Point of Sale and inventory systems, including completing transactions quickly and accurately.

Willingness to work flexible hours:

Friday evenings and Saturday's required. Excellent Communication Skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. Effective time management skills. Strong team player with ability to make a great, positive, long lasting first impression.
