Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA). The Role We are seeking a Business Development Officer to own the sales journey from qualified lead through close, while setting the tone for a disciplined, high-conversion client experience as Hightower Signature Wealth builds out its full-funnel growth engine. You will engage qualified prospects, lead discovery and introductory meetings, articulate Hightower's value proposition, and drive each opportunity through the sales process. You will bring in the appropriate advisor at the right point while remaining accountable for pipeline progression and conversion through close. If you are passionate about building relationships with prospective clients, understanding their financial needs, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships, this is an opportunity to help shape the growth engine at Hightower Signature Wealth. What You'll Do Engage qualified wealth management prospects and lead introductory meetings across phone, video, and in-person channels Lead structured discovery conversations across assets, financial goals, household dynamics, and decision process to understand each prospect's needs Draw on your financial services expertise and Hightower's broader capabilities to articulate a tailored value proposition for each prospect Own and actively manage your sales pipeline, driving opportunities from Meeting 1 through planning and close Build and maintain strong prospect relationships through disciplined, timely follow-up across the sales journey Bring in the appropriate advisor and other Hightower experts at the right point based on each prospect's needs Coordinate and prepare planning meetings with the advisor, ensuring continuity across the client journey Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, next steps, and forecast visibility Remain accountable for conversion performance through close What You'll Bring 5-10+ years of successful sales, business development, or client relationship experience in wealth management or financial services Strong understanding of the financial services industry, wealth management, and the needs of high-net-worth clients Strong consultative selling and structured discovery skills, with experience translating client needs into a tailored proposition Demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospective clients and lead client-facing sales conversations Experience owning and managing a sales pipeline through a CRM, preferably Salesforce Strong follow-up discipline, organization, and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously Metrics-driven mindset with accountability for pipeline progression and conversion performance Relevant securities or investment adviser license/designation preferred Preferred Qualifications CFP® certification or actively pursuing certification Series 65 or Series 66 license What We Offer Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver) 401k matching plan HSA employer contributions Student loan assistance Pet insurance In-office Monday through Thursday and work from home on Fridays
