Carrier Sales Representative

WAM Logistics is looking for a driven individual to fill a Carrier Sales Representative role. Experience in the industry preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is someone who picks things up quickly, has a competitive spirit and enjoys being challenged in a fast paced environment. Must work well in a team setting and excel at problem solving and managing a large amount of daily tasks. This position starts at $45,000 per year with additional performance based bonus pay after an onboarding period (typically 6-12 months depending on performance and experience). A successful carrier rep should make $50-55k in their first year.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong work ethic Earnings motivated Ability to negotiate Good communication skills, enjoys interacting with new people daily. Great problem solving skills, given the end goal is able to identify multiple ways to achieve it. Able to efficiently use a computer, understands basic utilities like email, instant messaging, Microsoft Office, and can navigate the world wide web. Competitive personality, prefers a challenge.

Develop, establish and maintain relationships with carriers in the truckload marketplace Identify, source and procure new carriers relationships Communicate with carriers to ensure on time pickup and delivery Perform detailed and organized data entry Proactively identify and problem solve issues and relay to appropriate team members. Manage carrier network to ensure accurate levels of service MUST be skilled at working with speed and efficiency
