Job Description

Community Outreach & Sales Representative Part-Time | Commission-Based | Hybrid / Local Field Position Help Bring Hope, Healing & Wellness to Our Community Our mission is to unlock the highest potential within every person we meet and cultivate hope, healing, and inspiration throughout our community. We're looking for a motivated, outgoing Community Outreach & Sales Representative who wants to help bring that mission into local workplaces. In this role, you'll connect with local businesses and create opportunities for their employees to experience our Workplace Wellness events . These events give people practical wellness education, encouragement, and an opportunity to take the next step toward greater health and healing. This is more than simply booking lunches. You'll be creating opportunities for people in our community to be seen, encouraged, inspired, and connected with resources that can help them experience healing and reach their highest potential. You'll also have the opportunity to earn directly based on the results you create. The Opportunity You'll introduce local businesses to our Workplace Wellness program and coordinate the events from start to finish. This event entails our team bringing lunch to a local office or group for them to enjoy while the Presenter (separate from this position) offers wellness insights. An opportunity to book an appointment at the health center is offered during the program. This is an avenue of new patient recruitment for our health center. You will book these events with local businesses, and coordinate the details, including scheduling, communication with the business, arranging lunch, and making sure everything is ready for the presentation. You'll attend the event alongside our wellness presenter, help create a welcoming experience for employees, assist attendees with scheduling appointments, and collect payments at the conclusion of the event. You'll have the flexibility to handle much of the outreach, follow-up, scheduling, and administrative work remotely, while also spending time in the field meeting businesses and attending Workplace Wellness events. What You'll Do Identify and reach out to local businesses that may benefit from a Workplace Wellness event. Nurture pre-existing avenues of inbound lead generation Introduce business owners, managers, HR professionals, and other decision-makers to our program. Build genuine relationships with local businesses and become a positive representative of our mission in the community. Schedule approximately one Workplace Wellness event per week . Follow up consistently with prospective businesses and maintain relationships with leads. Coordinate the details of scheduled events with the business. Arrange lunch/food for each event. Attend Workplace Wellness events in person and assist with setup and coordination. Help create a welcoming, encouraging environment for employees attending the event. Help attendees schedule appointments following the presentation. Collect payments at the conclusion of events. Track and document your efforts in outreach, leads, scheduled events, appointments, and results. Work toward established goals and consistently meet or exceed expectations. Attend our Monday team meeting at 10:00 AM at the health center in Fort Mill . Represent our organization professionally and positively throughout the local business community. Most importantly, help create opportunities for people to experience hope, healing, inspiration, and greater personal potential. Compensation This is a commission-based position with significant earning potential tied directly to your results. For each successfully executed Workplace Wellness event, you will receive: $200 per completed event OR the total amount collected from appointments booked at that event — whichever is greater. The cost of an appointment at these events is $52.
For example:
0 appointments booked → $200 2 appointments booked → $200 (2 × $52 = $104) 4 appointments booked → $208 (4 × $52) 10 appointments booked → $520 (10 × $52) The average rate of booked appointments is 30% of the attendees. Your earnings can increase by booking more Workplace Wellness events, focusing on large group attendance, and by helping generate more booked appointments at each event. At a goal of one Workplace Wellness event per week , the baseline compensation would be approximately $800/month , with the opportunity to earn more based on the number of events booked and the results generated at those events. Typical monthly earnings could range from approximately $800 to $2,500+ , depending on number of events and event results. Schedule & Work Environment This is a part-time hybrid position . Some responsibilities can be completed remotely, including: Prospecting and outreach Phone calls and emails Lead follow-up Scheduling Event coordination Administrative work Other responsibilities will take place in the field, including: Visiting and approaching local businesses Meeting with business representatives Attending Workplace Wellness events Assisting with event setup and coordination Monday team meeting: 10:00 AM at our health center in Fort Mill. The remainder of the schedule will have flexibility based on business outreach, scheduled Workplace Wellness Events, and event times. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results. Consistent and accountable , with a track record of following through on commitments. Self-motivated and resourceful — someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do - they find a way to bring ideas to fruition. Someone who will actively meet quotas consistently - even if that means increasing outreach, trying new approaches, following up with more leads, building new relationships, or getting out into the community. Mission-driven and genuinely motivated by helping people find healing. Friendly, confident, and comfortable approaching new people. Naturally outgoing and enjoys building relationships. Comfortable talking with business owners, managers, and employees. Organized and able to manage multiple leads and scheduled events. Comfortable with sales and asking for the appointment. Reliable and professional when representing the organization. Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. Motivated by performance-based compensation. Excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. Previous sales, business development, community outreach, event coordination, healthcare/wellness, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but the right heart, personality, work ethic, and willingness to build relationships are just as important as previous experience. This Role Is About More Than Sales The right person won't see a Workplace Wellness event as simply another event to book. They'll see it as an opportunity. An opportunity to walk into a local business and connect with people who may be struggling with their health, feeling discouraged, or simply looking for a better way forward. An opportunity to introduce people to practical tools, encouragement, and resources that can help them take the next step. And an opportunity to be part of something bigger than a sales number — helping people in our community experience hope, healing, and inspiration. At the same time, this is a results-driven position . We are looking for someone who enjoys having goals, takes ownership of their numbers, and consistently finds a way forward when they encounter obstacles. If you're the type of person who sees a goal and thinks, "What do I need to do to make this happen?" , you may be an excellent fit for this role. The Ideal Candidate You might be a great fit for this position if you can genuinely say: "I love people, I believe in what we're doing, I want to help more people experience it, and I'm willing to do what it takes to reach my goals." You should enjoy getting out into the community, meeting local businesses, starting conversations, and creating relationships. You should also be comfortable taking initiative. This position gives you flexibility, but it also requires someone who will consistently make calls, follow up with leads, walk into businesses, ask for the opportunity, and take ownership of the results. If you don't hit your goal one week, we don't want someone who simply accepts that result. We want someone who looks at the numbers, identifies what needs to change, gets creative, increases their activity, and finds a way to get back on track. The ideal candidate will be motivated by both purpose and performance — someone who wants to earn based on their efforts while knowing that their efforts are helping create opportunities for healing in our community. To Apply Please submit your resume to haley@maxlivingfortmill.com along with a brief introduction telling us why you think you'd be a good fit for this role, what motivates you about helping people in our community experience hope and healing, and how you approach achieving challenging goals. This can be in video or written format.
